My husband's job brought us to the Sunshine state in August 2014. It was was just luck, location, and urgency to find the right place that made our scouters (my in-laws) come over from the coast and find Amara. The apartment we would be getting wasn't ready for them to view, but the unit's location was pointed out, the floor plan shown to them so that they could evaluate the option. The office staff worked from the first moment to make sure my mother-in-law could save the day and find us a new home.
This is the first apartment we've lived since we began our family twenty-some years ago. It took some time to adjust--we'd moved from Buffalo, NY--but the location and the pools made it the best place for us to get the lay of the land and see that our needs were met. This was a new state, city, and job for all of us and we didn't know what to expect.
We stayed, and stayed, and now are in our third year here. It hasn't been totally smooth sailing--for us or for the staff and management--but the changes and improvements that have been made since we've been here are so impressive. I feel like luck and hard work and getting to know the staff have truly made this a place we don't want leave.
 Pool, cabanas, chairs--new and safe
Dog park and area stations for cleaning up after pets
Fitness room with sturdy machines and plenty of options for exercise
Deck with a view of the pond--Central Florida's ecosystem right on the premises!
There is always someone during business hours to check in with, and the maintenance staff (Ms.Teresa and Sr. Jaime especially!) gets all problems fixed in a timely, efficient manner, when such minor--or major--occur.
